Interests:Golf, Nascar racing, fantasy Baseball and football, spending time with my wife ( don't tell her :) and plotting to take over the world hahahaha!
today I am at the hospital with Brady, he looks so peaceful sleeping. The tuff thing for me is watching the machine breath for him...it hurts to watch this. I know he's in God's hands, and God will take care of him. I know this, but the parent in me want's to be mad and upset this is happening. Anthony did so well at home, he's just happy to be home, He kept looking for Braden in the house, and when he went to bed he just looked over a his brothers bed and shook his head. Monica called a few minutes ago and said Anthony is breathing heavy again. This really hurts to hear. I am waiting for the Dr to come in I will write more later.
What a weekend...God is so so awesome. When things look like there is no end He just supplies what we need. As Monica wrote we had our bike run it was so cool. I also got to see Chris and Kelly, that was great. I miss them, well Kelly not Chris.
I got to spend a few hours with Thing one and Thing Two this weekend. They are great, they grow up so quickly. I also got to spend sometime with my awesome wife.
Well I have to run, I gotta work today so I will try to write more later.
okay it's been a week since my last confe....oops post. So much has gone on, the boys are now at school which is a good thing. We have made progress in our Christmas efforts here in Brazoria county. Then comes Saturday...I was going over my sermon my office at about 6 and I see lights yes lights blue, red and white coming in through the UT flag over my window which serves as my window drape. Well I try to ignore the lights but hey you can't so I look out and there are 5 police cars lined up in front of my building. So I go out, and talk to the police officers. It seems as if a client wanted to start his own Saturday night Smack down in my shelter.(I kept waiting to here If you smell what the Rock is cooking!) Fun, well he goes to jail, but before he gets put into the squad car he tries to fight the biggest policeman I have ever seen. Yea that was great. Then he got put into the car by the men in blue. Shelter clients are going nuts.....so I had to talk and calm them all down. Hey that's why we get paid the big bucks.
Then Sunday we get down with church and ask our corps members to stay so we can talk to them. We ask them for some goals for our corps. We get dead silence. But hey, I give them a week to think about it. So we will see what happens next Sunday. I pray God will give guidance in this situation. So be in prayer for our corps. We need it.
Yes we are $6,546.60 ahead of last year....God is Good. The boys are sick, life is hectic and it's all good. Christmas is a little stressful, but hey it's 4 weeks of hectic living then it's all down hill until next year. I hope all is well in xanga land.
